C4D Quicktime Video Texture Error (SOLUTION)

Well, I’ve been scratching my head for a while under pressure with this issue. Apparently the latest version of 7.6.6 Quicktime and Maxon Cinema 4d R11.5 have issues interpreting ‘video textures’. When you add a video texture to an object the video is black. After some research i figured out what the problem was and the best solution for me.

SOLUTION:
Downgrade Quicktime! Version 7.6.4 (518.35) Works for me!

Download Quicktime:

Download Pacifist:

The OS Wont let you downgrade, so you’ll have to use Pacifist to open the Quicktime package. Once you do so, click install!

VOILA!
